The research and manufacturing of chips coincide with Ding Yue's plans for the Metaverse.
The Metaverse Plan is primarily based on virtual technology, and virtual technology clearly cannot do without chip technology. After all, only more powerful chips can support a better virtual world.
Current 5 nanometer chips might not be enough. Xu Bin can start with the 5 nanometer chips, but in his view, to better support the creation of the Metaverse, 3 nanometer chips would be more suitable.
Because 3 nanometer chips are not just a minor improvement over 5 nanometer chips; it's a qualitative leap.
