Ruilin shook her head; looking at He Ao, she said with some emotion,
"At the entrance of the Ordinance Department, that 'K' relief was made under my supervision. On the day it was finished, I stood alone in front of that relief, making perhaps the first wish of the lower class, 'I hope the people of the lower class can have enough to eat.'"
As she spoke, she smiled, "After making that wish, I felt incredibly naive and foolish. It was more of an unrealistic fantasy than a wish,"
She paused for a moment, looking at the dark corridor ahead, "But I never thought that such a 'wish' could actually one day come true."
