By the time we got to the Palace it was sunrise. My legs felt like lead as Thea led me through the maze of hallways that I had grown familiar with in the past few months. Everything however felt so different this time.

Baba to me had his flaws but he was everything to me. The memories I had of him were sacred and getting to see him on the internet now and know who he was brought it all back. To see his face when he smiled and to hear his voice when he addressed the nation. To see how he always held Adonis in his arms like he was gold just like how he held me.
