"I think it's the best word to describe it," I smiled which made Ezekiel chuckle. "I can't say I know how you feel because I've never experienced it, but I have experienced heartbreak and that is not fun at all."
He nodded slightly, "It's not that I didn't know there was something wrong. I could always see it but I had too much faith in her that she wouldn't do it. If the roles were reversed with me always jet setting and I cheated, I would be crucified but when it's her she just expected me to let it go and keep on fighting for her."
"She sounds toxic," I scrunched my nose. "Whoever she cheated on you with must be damn special because I see no reason on why she would do that."
He chuckled then took a sip of his almond milk, "if you could see the man she went for you would be shocked. He's the type of man you could pass and not look at."
