It was a normal day. I woke up to get ready for school, took a bath, ate breakfast and went outside. I was just stepping out the door when the potted plant that usually hanged around my window came crashing down, almost hitting my head.
This is usually when you're parents come and ask what happened, but I lived alone. So I just stepped over the broken pieces of the pot and dirt it contained. I would clean it up later, I still had to be on time for class.
I walked the usual route to school, it would take 30 minutes for me to reach it by foot, as for why I'm not using my bike or taking the bus. It's because it serves as exercise, that and I do this to save money since parking spaces in school are rented by day.
I waved to the local auntie who lived by herself as well. She was a nice woman, she would occasionally invite me to have dinner when she had excess food, though she worried too much since I lived alone.
After that I went back to minding my own business when I heard the auntie shout.
"Look out!"
I stopped in my tracks then turned to look back at the auntie. I was about to ask what she wanted when I heard a loud crash behind me.
A broken air conditioner was on the ground I was about to step on. Cold shivers went down my spine and I could feel goosebumps on my skin rubbing against my uniform. The auntie rushed over to see if I was okay.
"You've got to be careful next time, tch some people have no decency with their stuff."
The latter half of the sentence was directed towards those who owned the air conditioner.
"Thanks auntie, but I have to get to school."
"Take the bus this time, I'll pay for your fare."
She offered me some money and I had no reason to refuse. I have a feeling that this won't be the last time something falls from the sky. She bid me goodbye as I walked towards the bus station.
There weren't any accidents that happened while waiting for the bus to arrive. The only weird thing that I could consider was a foreign with blue hair walking with two big busted blonde babes. The blue hair seemed natural and not dyed, I wonder which country he came from and if blue hair was common there. As for the women, cough, those melons were bigger than grapefruit, I'm worried about their backs.
The bus arrived after 5 minutes of waiting and I got on. Strangely enough, I was the only passenger. This gave me chills as I took the seat nearest to the exit. The bus driver was a man in his 30s, I couldn't quite recall his face, whenever I try all I come up with is blank, as if there was never a face in the first place.
There were no accidents on my way to school, though I was able to spot splatters of blood on the road, it was fresh though most people just ignored it as if they saw nothing. Maybe I was hallucinating stuff...
I got off at the station. Sadly it didn't directly drop me off at school, instead I was dropped off two blocks away so I still had to walk. I sucked in a breath as I braced myself for what was to come, and just as I expected, a car was hurdling its way to me. I was able to jump to the side in time, the stop sign that I was standing in front earlier was hideously bent. I could almost imagine myself in that position, it was unsettling.
I ran rest of the way, fortunately there weren't any more accidents. I arrived at the main gate, the security guard who also served as a janitor was mowing the grass. I waved to him as I did everyday then went to enter, but before I could walk any further, I heard a loud boom as the weed whacker that the security guard was using exploded. I couldn't react fast enough as a blade came roaring towards my face. I closed my eyes, then I felt warm liquid splattered against my face. It wasn't mine. Then I heard a thud as a body fell down in front of me
"Are you okay?!"
I knelt down and held the person on the ground. They had blonde hair, but unlike the foreigner from earlier, it was obvious that they used hair dye. The person's messy and unkempt uniform was stained with blood and the blade was lodged into their side.
"Help! Call an ambulance, please!"
I frantically yelled at I tried to put pressure onto the wound, to prevent it from bleeding large amounts of blood. The security guard from earlier pulled out a phone then dialed a number.
I turned the person over, making sure the wound was on the upside, doing so allowed me to take a good look of their face. I was shocked since I was able to recognize them.
"Fuck, be more careful. It's fucking painful."
It was the delinquent from my class. He had spiky blonde hair, a scar on the very edge of his eyebrow. He was good looking, not in a Prince Charming sorta way, but a more wild and rugged look. Like a tough wolf who was ready to pounce, yet at this moment his face showed extreme pain and fragility. Like a wounded beast on the edge of death.. I lifted his shirt and saw the wound pierced the blade. It was a smooth insertion so it didn't cause any deformations, it went in deep, though judging from the angle and the amount of blood that poured out, it didn't hit a vital organ. I pulled out a towel from pocket then pressed it near the wound.
"Idiot, why did you do that!?"
I was really tempted to slap him, I would if he currently wasn't bleeding out. He let out a hoarse laugh before replying.
"I don't know."
This bastard!
"Nevermind! Don't die on me yet, you still have to wait for the ambulance to get here."
"Peh! I've been through much worse, a little stab won't kill me."
Ah, how could I have forgotten. This guy went through multiple fights, each time landing him and the person or people (depending on his mood) he fought in the hospital. The latter would have more serious wounds though. If it weren't for his family being rich, I would've suspected that he would've been expelled on numerous occasions.
It took 5 minutes for the ambulance to arrive. During which I talked with him about lighthearted topics, girls and even stuff like manga. The pure white towel that I had was now soaked in deep crimson. The paramedics carried him into the back of the ambulance and it quickly drove away.
It seemed like the security guard informed the principal already, because class was canceled. Anyways I had nothing else to do but clean up the blood on my uniform, as for the towel... I would deal with it later.
