As she left in a hurry, Maisy had a lot of things to settle first. The most important person was Lucas. Ever since he was born, he had never been separated from her. "Lucas, Miss Sophie will take good care of you," Maisy continued to say, "My work is very important. I don't want to leave you, but I have to."
Lucas pouted. No matter how mature a child was, he couldn't bear to leave his mother. "Alright, but will Miss Sophie stay at our house? Or will I have to go to Miss Sophie's house?"
Maisy patted his head. "Go to Miss Sophie's house. She is very gentle. Doesn't she come to visit you often?"
Lucas nodded. His parents hadn't reconciled yet, and his mother was about to go on a business trip. He was a little worried.
