However, after he let go, he didn't see much disdain on Aria Grant's face, and that was enough for him; thus, Thomas Yates finally said.
"Then I won't bother you any longer. After you go back, spend some quality time with the kids—they really miss you!"
Aria Grant stood there listening, feeling an indescribably odd sensation that Thomas seemed to have something to say but also as if he had said everything, leaving her uncertain.
"What about you? Where are you heading now?"
The question was somewhat hard to ask because Aria had intended to invite Thomas back with her as a way to thank him, but those few words seemed to be incredibly difficult to utter.
"I'm going home. You should head back too, they'll worry about you."
