After wasting most of my magic on sparks at the end of my fingertips that might barely entertain children, I decided it was time to get back to the books. Though I have an eidetic memory, it's just that the book in your hand has a different feel to it.
"Well everything will come later, now I gotta pee real bad."
As Alex got up and started trotting over towards the bathroom. He saw his father coming out of the room and also walking towards the bathroom.
Both son and father make eye contact and like on command they slowed down. Nodding to each other they faced towards their common goal. In that slowed fraction of time, a determined flash past their eyes. They had for that portion of time forgotten of their bond of father and son. Now they were just obstacles in each other's path.
*Bang*
And there they go at full speed their bodies could bear. Leaving smoke and fire behind their tracks...*cough*(ok OK I know that was too much).
"You will never catch me... muhahaha."
Curtis was inching closer and closer to the bathroom door as he taunted his 7-year-old son with a face of pure joy, imagining the suffering he would be putting his son too as he waited for him by the door of the BATHROOM.
"Nooo!!"
And just as he was entering the bathroom the door of the said bathroom was yanked towards his face... Oh that brutal face smash had him lying on the floor.
And he watched has he saw his son now walking in the bathroom with a smug face. and now with the closed door as partition, the only thing left on the other side was a groaning father on the floor.
"Arg... magic is so unfair."
