Although it might have seemed brief, the fight against the forest troll took the group of adventurers around two or three minutes, most of which were spent trying to weaken the troll with the usual tactics before Sarith made an unorthodox move.
However, at some point during the fight, Alice had disappeared. The group of adventurers was about to panic when the girl who had them worried appeared from behind a tree. Seeing Alice's shy and somewhat fearful expression, the group of adventurers realized that she had been hiding the whole time, and that their panic had been somewhat premature.
Little did the group of adventurers know that Alice had basically just rushed back—something they would have noticed if they had paid more attention, but circumstances didn't allow it.
