We'd get to the town hall in time, and to my surprise, though not by much, the two girls were frantically looking for me. As they saw me coming up the street though, their relief would set in. It was weird seeing people actually worry about me, and I questioned if they really did care.
I didn't even know if they cared for me authentically or if it was conditional. I held power, for those that were in my family, that was because I was the count and for Stella, it was probably more important as I had to kill her god. Thus, I wasn't sure how to react to their worry, and as such I wouldn't.
