This Bloodthirsty Corpse Asura uses rotting corpses as nourishment, roots in them, and draws energy from the corpses to grow vigorously. Initially, it was merely evil and nothing extraordinary.
However, later, it was discovered that the fruit it bore shared certain characteristics with the rotting corpses it rooted in.
Through some people's research and refinement, a special type of Bloodthirsty Corpse Asura seed was cultivated, capable of being nourished by living people. Once the fruit is produced, it effectively extracts the bloodline of the nourisher.
Swallowing that fruit would then allow one to steal someone else's bloodline.
