"Major Balogun, stay behind. I want to have a word."
The investigation team turned to Korede with a bit of worry. The person in question shook his head at them.
"Go on ahead. I'll catch up after speaking with the Commander."
The others nodded and led Colonel Chris Nkweme away on his walk of shame.
Korede closed the door and walked back into the office.
"Sir?" He said while still standing.
"Do you know what you have done wrong, Major?"
"No, sir!"
"You really don't know? Don't you realised that you have just thrown mud on the Army?!" Lt. General Katsina raised his voice.
"It was never my intension, sir!"
"Oh...? Is that so? Then, explain to me. What was your intention?"
"My initial intention was to carryout the arrest quietly. Not only had I impressed the delicacy of the situation on the Department and gotten their agreement, but I also requested for and received permission to make use of the secret dignitary passage of the base.
