CH429: Chatting With The Snake
"This is the Air Base Assault group. The Air Base has fallen. I repeat, the Air Base has fallen."
The team looked at each other.
"They really used it." Korede sighed.
"Aren't they afraid of getting in trouble with the International community?" – Abdul-Lateef.
"Guess they just wanted to end the fighting as soon as possible. They can deal with future consequences later." – Champion.
"One of the leaders will probably take the fall for it, right?" Mary asked.
"Most likely." Temitope nodded. "But it might not be that bad. Most of the resolution of the Geneva Convention deals with how warfare affects civilians. As long as all the victims of the chemical attack were combatants, I don't think the International Criminal Court should come on too hard."
The team nodded in understanding.
