"You and Wen Ran seem really close," Eudora remarked, a hint of emotion surfacing in her expression, softened perhaps by the late hour. Her voice lost a bit of its usual iciness and gained a tinge of melancholy.
At least that's how Bai Xiaoxiao felt.
She turned to look at Eudora and blinked, saying, "Eudora, when I go back to our country, why don't you come with me?"
Eudora's face flickered slightly, and the sadness in her tone deepened. "When my mother took me abroad, I never thought about returning. I thought she could find that man."
Bai Xiaoxiao was moved by her sadness, feeling a faint stir of emotion, "Eudora, now that your mother has passed away, and you're alone in D Country, why not come back with me? Ranran and I look alike, which means you two are destined to meet. Over time, I'm sure you can become good friends."
"Really? She's so happy; she probably doesn't need friends."
