Just as he unlocked the door with the key, Anderson saw a somewhat anxious face. Meeting his wife's gaze, he looked guiltily at his feet, then turned and moved the box from outside the door inside. He replied in a muffled, slightly impatient voice, "No."
"No?" Mrs. Anderson's poorly maintained skin had loosened considerably, with nasolabial lines, crow's feet, forehead wrinkles... her skin looked dull and rough. Disappointed, she clasped her hands subconsciously, "Then what are we going to do this month?"
The bills are about to be mailed. If they can't pay these bills, they'll be listed as high-risk. If they default again without paying off their current debts, the bank or some companies will initiate investigation procedures.
As long as the Investigator deems them incapable of repaying, the goods they've bought on installments, or even the house, will be auctioned off to repay the debt.
