From what he recalled, the heroes who had once invaded the castle from this direction had spent weeks navigating its treacherous terrain. Back then, the skies had been teeming with Silver Wyverns, Thunderbirds, and the mythical Zilants.
The Zilants were terrifying creatures, described as having the head of a wyvern, the legs of a bird, the tail of a serpent, and wings that varied between bat-like and bird-like, depending on the type.
