Grey's pain-stricken screams continued for a long time. Void stood in the same stop watching on as Grey screamed while clutching his head in pain. There was nothing he could do as the pain Grey was enduring was directly related to his consciousness. Matters regarding one's consciousness are quite difficult to deal with. Take for instance, the time Grey accidentally harmed Void's consciousness due to wanting to understand the intricacies of the space element. At the time, Grey did everything he could, even venturing into the dangerous Magical Beast's Forest searching for something that could fix any damages to one's consciousness.
In the end, even with everything Grey did, he was still unable to get Void to wake up. The latter woke up surprisingly on his own, well, Grey's efforts shortened the time he stayed in a comatose state.
