Transfer Station.
This place was both a midpoint for delving into the wilderness and the forefront of the war... Jing City had a total of nine transfer stations, most of which had been destroyed and then rebuilt.
The existence of the transfer stations served the purpose of war, extending Jing City's reach by establishing several satellite cities, comparable to medium-sized sanctuaries, around it.
The satellite cities also suffered damage; when the Golden Eagle attacked, it almost destroyed one of the satellite cities. However, thanks to the layered defense lines, Jing City's sanctuary had not been breached from the outside since its establishment.
Naturally, transfer stations had no hotels or restaurants, just steel fortresses designed for war.
Freelance Awakeners could only rest briefly at the transfer stations, while leading mercenary corps and other major forces had personnel stationed there, allowing their members to enjoy more amenities.
