Aoko, one of the Five Magicians in the world, is the youngest and holds the lowest rank among them.
Aoko is the second daughter of the Aozaki family, where her older sister was originally designated as the heir to the family's traditions. Despite this, Aoko had no desire to be involved in such matters and felt fortunate that the responsibility had fallen to her sister. Her life was relatively detached from the world of magecraft—until her grandfather's influence introduced her to foundational philosophies and knowledge that would shape her future.
However, at the age of fifteen, during her early teenage years, Aoko's life took a dramatic turn. Her sister suddenly disappeared without a trace. This loss not only marked a significant change in her personal life but also brought unforeseen consequences to the future of the Aozaki family. As she entered high school and began her first year, Aoko was abruptly named the family's successor—a role previously held by her sister. This came as a heavy blow to Aoko, who had up until then lived a life free of such burdens.
Amidst all this upheaval, Aoko was assigned to live with the Kuonji family, close allies of the Aozaki household. It was there that she met Alice, the daughter of the Kuonjis. Their initial relationship was far from smooth. Yet, through twists of fate and a series of events, they eventually formed a deep and meaningful bond.
During her time learning the basics of magecraft from Alice, Aoko displayed remarkable talent—though she had already gained foundational knowledge from her grandfather. Together, the two girls managed to repel attacks from rogue magi who sought to claim their territory. In addition to her magical duties, Aoko was also active in school life, even serving as the student council president—a demanding role that required strong leadership skills.
She is a cheerful and humorous individual, yet also sharp and assertive when the situation calls for it. Although she tends to emphasize logic and reason in her decision-making, she also considers morality and justice in her actions. Her deep curiosity about others can sometimes make her seem distant, but in truth, she's a good listener-always ready to hear other people's stories. However, the most surprising aspect of her is her extraordinary magical ability. Aoko is a Magician capable of wielding Magic Blue, known as the Fifth Magic. The existence and true nature of the Fifth Magic remain a mystery to most magi, but Aoko demonstrates great mastery over it, using it for a variety of purposes-including limited time travel.

NP Gain
The best NP gain chain is AQA Extra.
With an NP charge per attack of 0.55%, using Skill 3 (30% Arts & Quick Up at level 10), and 2% Arts Up from Passive Skill (Territory Creation A), assuming no crits and no overkill, the NP gain is:
Arts: 8.18%
Quick: 6.49%
Arts: 14.72%
Extra: 5.50%
Total: 34.89%
Comment: Good gain, but without Skill 3, her NP generation becomes quite sluggish.
Star Generation
Best stargen chain: ABQ Extra
With 15% base stargen, using Skill 3 (30% Buster & Quick Up at level 10) + 20% stargen up from a Mighty Brave Chain, assuming no crits and no overkill, she can generate around 15–26 critical stars.
NOBLE PHANTASM
Name: Unfinished Blue
Rank: EX
Classification: Anti-Unit
Type: Arts
Range: 0
Maximum number of targets: 1 person
Hit-counts: -
Effect: 500% Chance to transform self into Super Aoko + Increases own Buster performance (NP1 20%) permanently + Increases own Extra Attack performance (NP1 20%) permanently + Removes own second Active Skill buffs.
Overcharge Effect: Increases own critical damage (30~70% depends OC) for 3 turns
"Contact. From outside to inside, from one to zero. Shift, re-clicked. Let's start changing players!"
- Foreigner
Using a sub-effect of the Fifth Magic, she swaps places with her future self. Essentially, this functions as a transformation-type Noble Phantasm. However, activating this Noble Phantasm doesn't come without risks. In Mahoyo, when Aoko uses this power, she realizes that the Counter Force tries to stop her by destroying her body, causing immense pain.
When she transforms into Super Aoko, she gains two additional passives, and her ATK, HP, skills, and Noble Phantasm all change. Even her background music shifts.
Gameplay-wise, this skill can be seen as an upgraded version of Jekyll's NP. Upon transforming into Super Aoko, her stats and skill set are altered, and this NP grants a permanent Buster and Extra performance boost in her new form. On the surface, it looks impressive, but this kind of mechanic can be clunky for typical 3-turn farming setups. On top of that, the permanent buffs can still be blocked or removed.
ACTIVE SKILLS
1. Magic Bullet Charging
Rank: B
Effect: Grants self 3 Magic Bullet buffs + Gains 20 Critical Stars (at level 10).
(Magic Bullet: Increases own attack by 50% for 1 time by consuming the earliest Magic Bullet buff when attacking with Quick, Arts, or Buster cards. When using an Extra Attack, consumes all stacks to increase attack by (50 × N)% for 1 time. Max: 20 stacks.)
Cooldown: 4/3/2 turns
A simple form of magecraft that uses the magical energy generated inside her body (Od) as bullets. While Aoko is average or below average in most magecraft, when it comes to magical bullets, she's unbeatable in speed, precision, and destructive power. She's the undisputed champion of magic bullets in the magecraft world.
This skill gives 3 Magic Bullets and 20 critical stars—decent considering the Foreigner class's high star absorption. With a very short cooldown, it's quite spammable. However, all of Aoko's attacks consume Magic Bullets (especially her Extra Attack, which consumes them all), so stacking them is hard unless you intentionally hold back from attacking with her.
2. Magic Circuits (Rotation)
Rank: A
Effect: Grants self a buff that regenerates over 3 turns + Gains 10 Critical Stars per turn (at level 10) for 3 turns.
(Buff: Charges party NP gauge by 20% per turn at level 10, for 3 turns.)
Note: This skill's effects are removed upon transforming into Super Aoko.
Cooldown: 9/8/7 turns
Specialized magical circuits that allow her to use the Fifth Magic, ensuring she never runs out of magical energy. Considered one of the necessary components to leave the planet.
This skill provides powerful NP support by charging 20% NP gauge per turn for 3 turns to the entire party. It's a big help for Aoko herself, given her NP gain isn't stellar and she can't attack freely if you want to conserve her Magic Bullets (though instant NP charge would be more efficient than a per-turn charge). The crit stars per turn are also nice due to her class's strong star absorption.
3. Back to Those Days, Once More
Rank: EX
Effect:
Target one ally and apply the following for 3 turns:
Increase Quick performance by 30%
Increase Arts performance by 30%
Increase Buster performance by 30%
Increase Critical Damage by 30%
Apply HP Regen (2000 per turn)
Grant Protagonist Correction buff
(Protagonist Correction: Grants immunity to demerit effects when using skills or Noble Phantasms, except for certain effects such as sacrifices or compensation-type demerits.)
Cooldown: 9/8/7 turns
The magic of youth. A mental reinforcement powered by hope, dreams, and the ambitions everyone once had as children. Bestows the "Protagonist" status to one team member. When used on herself, it restores forgotten memories and understanding. When used on others, Aoko becomes a guiding teacher who leads lost children toward their future.
This targetable skill massively boosts all card types, increasing damage and performance across the board. It also grants critical damage up and HP regeneration. The most unique part is the Protagonist Correction buff—it makes the target immune to any form of demerit for 3 turns. That includes debuffs, self-inflicted demerits disguised as buffs, and even demerit damage. There are exceptions, like Oberon's Sleep effect, but overall, it's extremely powerful utility.

Lore:
First and foremost, a guitar bought with her own money. No longer in use, yet still supporting the depths of her heart.
"Yes, when you're stuck, casually produce your favorite sound! It won't solve anything, but doesn't it reset your feelings to zero?"
Rather than reaching the goal, the excitement lies in starting from the beginning, said the magician, with a hint of deception. Again and again. May there be new encounters in your life.
"So, I'll give you this. If you don't need it anymore, come back and return it to me."
Isn't it more like "entrusting" than "giving"? You swallowed the words about to be returned, nodding proudly. Impossible tasks are the trademark of a magician. Among the numerous tasks ahead, one daunting challenge has been added.
