Zordon:
"Everything you told us," Jason says, "Was a lie. Everything."
I can feel Jason's and everyone else's eyes burning a hole in my back. Considering everything we have been through in the last year, I can guess what everyone is thinking.
"He lied to us. That's what Jason is thinking. I can't believe me lied to us. That's Chris. Mia is most likely thinking, 'Why did I agree to all of this in the first place'. Kashi is probably regretting ever taking his 'dumb' morpher to begin with. Siliva just wants to throw her morpher on the ground and walk away. Alieen, after what happened to her sister, I imagined she hates me the most."
"I did lie to you," I say, standing my ground. I take a deep breath and breathe. "But not everything I told you was a lie. The Crime Syndicate really did build the Q.E.D. They really did intend to hold the world hostage. And Lex really did sneak into their base to try and stop them."
"But we killed that bald son of a bitch," Superwoman says, smirking. "He never even touched the bomb."
"And that's when it happened," I say. "As I was holding Lex in my arms, watching as he was fading away, that's when it happened. That's when I lost...control."
I lower my head and stare at the ground.
"The Q.E.D was never activated. It didn't destroy the moon. I did."
With my super hearing, even without turning around and raising my head, I can hear everyone take a step back.
"You...destroyed half the moon," Mia asks.
"How," Kashi asks.
I shake my head.
"I'm not going to tell you that," I answer, "But I will tell you this. I wasn't lying when I told you you all have hearts. Strong, noble hearts that value the principles of justice and peace. That is why I chose you in the first place. I hope the five of you, or six, could do what Lex and I could not, and I am glad to be proven right."
"Proven right," Aileen repeats.
"Yes. Proven right. All throughout this year, time after time, fight after fight, you all have proven to me how right I was in choosing you to be power rangers, and for what it's worth, I think Lex, Jester, and every other member of the Justice League would be proud, too."
As the team takes in my words, I hear nails scratching against a chalkboard and raise my head.
"Oh, how touching," Superwoman says, stepping forward. "Well, at least you got to hear some sweet words. You know, before you all die."
Snapping her fingers, all the remaining members of the Crime Syndicate surround the team and me. I see Made Men like Gypsy Woman, Warwolf, Vamp, Black Power, Scream Queen, and even James Olsen. Each and every single one of them looks more than ready for a fight.
"Take the rangers," Superwoman orders. "Zordon is mine."
Captain Super and Uncle Super make room for Superwoman as she stomps toward me.
"After all, I owe you for this."
Moving her hair out of the way, Superwoman shows me a new scar running down the right side of her face.
"Honestly," I say, shrugging my shoulders. "I don't see much of a difference."
Grinding her teeth, Superwoman stomps on the ground, causing all of us, even her own Made Men, to shake.
"Get out of here," I shout, bringing up my hands. "I can handle them. Just go!"
"No," Jason shouts.
"What," I ask, turning around.
Jason, Chris, Mia, Kashi, Siliva, and even Alieen all step forward.
"No way," Chris screams.
"No chance," Mia goes on.
"Yeah, not even in your dream," Kashi jokes.
"We got your back," Siliva says.
"We're not going anywhere," Alieen ends.
"You said it yourself," Jason tells me. "Yeah, you lied to us, but you also chose us. Even Alieen. You chose us for a reason, and it's that same reason that we're not leaving you."
Reaching down, Jason pulls his blasters from his belts.
"I am Red Protector Ranger," he starts. As if one cue, the others follow him.
"I am Blue Protector Ranger!"
"I am Yellow Protector Ranger!"
"I am Black Protector Ranger!"
"I am Pink Protector Ranger!"
"I am Silver Protector Ranger!"
"And I am," I say, reaching into my pocket to pull out my Master Morpher. "Master Protector Ranger!"
Shoving my morpher in Superwoman's face, it transforms into a small black and white morpher that flips open. When it does, a white suit and blue and golden outline and a visor encase me.
"Rangers," I yell, shooting my hand into the air. "Attack!"
Not wasting even a moment, I, and everyone else, charge toward Superwoman and her crime syndicate. Reaching Superwoman in seconds, she throws her fist.
Shooting my hands down, two swords materialize from the Morphin Grid. Blocking Superwoman's left hook with one of my swords, I swing my second sword and hit her. She screams as she falls back.
Quickly catching herself and landing on her feet, Superwoman leaps off the ground and lunges for me. I cross my swords and block Superwoman, but my feet still skid against the street. Seeing this, Superwoman pushes me. It takes almost everything I have to stay on my feet. Still holding my swords, I pull one of them back and punch Superwoman in the face.
Again, she screams as she is thrown far back.
Jason:
"Ahhh," I scream as Captain Super punches me into the air. Sparks fly off my armor as I fall back. Pushing myself up as far as I can, I look up and see Captain Super walking toward me. Standing over me now, he raises his foot into the air. About to stomp on me, Chris shoots out from the side and hits Captain Super with his staff.
"Here," Chris says, offering me a hand. I take it, and Chris pulls me to my feet. "Okay, I'm just going to say it. We may have gotten in over our heads here."
"I wouldn't say that."
"I--" Chris says before pushing me behind him. Spinning his staff at high speed, Chris blocks a bolt of lightning from Black Power. Waiting until Chris stops spinning his staff, I aim my blaster and shoot Black Power.
"I would," Chris says, finishing his sentence. Hearing screaming, we turn our heads and see Scream Queen screaming at Kashi. Sparks fly off his armor as Kashi drops to his knees, covering his ears. Aiming at Scream Queen with my blaster, about to shoot her, I stop when I see something pink and yellow swinging toward her.
"Head-up," Siliva screams, swinging her whip, and tied to the end of her whip is Mia's shield!
Scream Queen, seeing it too, stops screaming. She tries to jump out of the way, but it's too late. Mia's shield hits and knocks Scream Queen out.
With Scream Queen knocked out, Alieen runs over to check on Kashi.
"Are you okay," she asks.
"I think so," Kashi yells. "Hey! Am I yelling! It feels like I'm yelling! Am I! Am I! Behind you!"
Turning around, Alieen sees Breakdance standing there. Dancing and making waves with his arms, Breakdance then fires a beam of energy at Alieen. However, Alieen moves fast.
Pulling out her axe, she uses it to absorb Breakdance's attack. Once Alieen absorbs all of Breakdance's attack, she slams her axe down and throws Breakdance's own attack back at him.
"Thanks," Alieen yells.
"Don't mention it," Kashi yells. "By the way, why are you whispering!"
Despite how many Made Men we managed to take down, more are still coming. Vamp transforms from a snake into a giant bear, and she and Warwolf circle Mia and Siliva. Meanwhile, James Olsen and Sai rush Kashi and Alieen, tackling them from the side.
"Ahh," Chris screams from behind me. Turning around, I see Gypsy Woman facing Chris. He swings his staff, but it goes right through her. As I am about to shoot her, Extruded Man's arms shoot out from behind me. They stretch out and wrap around me. Seeing this, I had enough!
"Red Protector Ranger," I shout. "Battlizer!"
My red ranger armor explodes in red energy. The power burns Extruded Man's arms, forcing him to let me go and pull back his arms. Everyone stops fighting to look at me as the new red energy surrounding me turns solid. The energy turns into even more armor, stronger armor.
My cape vanishes. A chest plate appears over my body, and shoulder and elbow pads slam onto me. My baton and blaster disappear, too. Now, I am holding a bright-red and golden shield, with a sword sticking out the top.
"Shield of Honor!"
With my Shield of Honor, I raise it before slamming the sword down. When I do, the sword unleashes a massive pulse of red energy that hits and throws all the Made Men into the air. We watch as every single Made Man is thrown into a wall, or through a window, or even into the nearby ocean.
With the new breathing room, I look around at the others as they all run back to me.
"Oh my god," Kashi yells. "That was so awesome! Why don't I have a battlizer!"
"You couldn't have done that sooner," Chris shouts, hitting me in the arm. "A woman phases her hand through my stomach! It was super uncomfortable! And a little disturbing."
"Do you ever not complain," Alieen asks.
"Again," Chris slowly says. "A woman's hand went through the armor, through my skin, and into my stomach. It was super uncomfortable."
"And a little disturbing," I repeat, laughing a little. "Sorry. Zordon told me to only use my battlizer in case of emergency. Wait! Zordon!"
We all turn our heads, looking for Zordon.
"Don't worry," Zordon says, walking up to us. "I'm still alive, and I'm not alone."
Bringing up a small, glass cube, Zordon shows it to us. Crowding around, we look inside the containment cube and see a tiny Superwoman inside.
"Let me out," she screams, banging against the glass. "Let me out!"
"Quiet you," Zordon says, bringing the cube to his face.
"This isn't over," Superwoman screams. "This isn't--"
"Yeah, yeah, tell it to someone who cared."
Zordon pockets the containment cube with Superwoman in it.
"And you think Scream Queen talks too much."
"Speaking of Scream Queen," Mia says, raising her shield.
Hearing endless moaning and groaning, we all look around to see the Made Men slowly pushing themselves up, climbing out of buildings and even out of the water. They look bruised and beaten, but they're not down yet. As they stumble toward us, we all raise our weapons and prepare for a fight. The one to make a move, a drenched Warwolf wobbles toward us.
Running and pulling back his fist, I raise my sword and shield, but before we can make contact, bright lights flash and blind us. What sounds like helicopters also appears out of nowhere.
"Oh, what now," Chris says.
Hearing a loud thud, I turn my head and see Warwolf on the ground.
"What--," I ask.
"Stun gun," Zordon answers. He points at two invisible wires on Warwolf's back. Following the wires, they led me to a whole fleet of helicopters in the sky. In one of the helicopters, holding some kind of gun, is President Slade Wilson.
"Go, go, go," the President says. As he says it, whole teams of soldiers, all armed and armored, drop from the helicopters and round up the Made Men.
The helicopter slowly lands in front of us, and President Wilson gets out. He hands the stun gun to the soldier standing next to him before walking over to us.
"Hey," Zordon says, walking up to the President. He pulls out the cube with Superwoman trapped inside and throws it at the President. "Here. Your problem now. We are done here."
