I silently went through the Man's memories in order to gain more understanding of the world. And exactly as I had guessed, the world seems to be in an Era similar to the dark ages.
The Man's name is Charles Elepaq and he was 28 this year. He's the son of a rather reputable merchant but had lost his parents to a fire at his younger years, then he was taken in by the village Chief and was brought up like one of the Chief's children.
The young lady standing in front of me, happens to be the only surviving member of the Chief's children, the rest died last night alongside their father. Charles had been injured while protecting Annabel during the attack from the Croos and perhaps due to shock she had been emotionally withdrawn since then.
The young man fears that he would fail the late Chief, if he should let harm come Anna's way. Although touched by his devotion, I steer clear off the emotional stuff and viewed the way in which the Croos attacked.
They were not especially powerful but their leader was really powerful when compared to ordinary Humans, he was not particularly buff but he was strong. He fought with his bare hands and didn't even flinch when stabbed.
This made me wonder, Why is he so powerful?.
I needed more information, even Charles had no idea about this things and I'm pretty sure Anna would be useless as well but it doesn't hurt to try.
When I was done, I was curious to see what changes Hellish energy would have on a human. I looked at Annabel and decided to start her process but not as much as I had injected into Charles, perhaps she would stay awake.
This time I pushed the energy towards her brain instead, causing her to scream as she held her head while crouching on the floor. I noticed that the energy went in smoothly compared to how Charles's body reacted. What was the basis of this? does it have anything to do with the color of her energy thread?.
While in doubt, I stopped to see the changes on her and found that a few strands of her hair were now white. She continued to breath heavily as her ears bled lightly.
Perhaps the brain is a little fragile but I got what I wanted, a blue holographic slate appeared next to her with a 2% stated boldly.
I then chose to go through her memory and as expected, she knew nothing about the abilities of this Croos man.
""Aaaah""" People began shouting from the village as some force knocked down a building wall, unsurprisingly it was the house Charles was placed.
I quickly spent 1000 points to take possession of his body and I felt every inch of his body, so I can fully understand everything.
I left his body immediately and saw that only 48 seconds were used, so he wouldn't receive any damage.
"Come" Was all I said to him before I began thinking again. His body had become study and he got a boost in strength although not the exaggerated kind, but I'm sure it would not be too different from the Croos man. Sadly, I noticed it would take a while before I can inject him with more energy.
But what was surprising was the fact that, He had a mutation!...for some odd reason, beneath his left arm were suckers like that of an octopus.
What are their uses, this is rather interesting, oh how curious I am...
Anna seemed to have recovered so I asked, "how do you feel?".
She was silent but her expression betrayed her surprise.
"Amazing...I feel amazing my Lord" Anna then proceeded to explain all that she was feeling right now. According to her, everything seemed much clearer to her but I also noticed something else, her thought process was faster as I asked a series of questions, meanwhile, while she had been talking, I noticed her killing a fly without looking and she didn't seem to take note of this.
So I concluded everything as

Charles finally arrived at this time and fell on his knees with a myraid of emotions visible on his face.
I couldn't help wondering why this man iss always eager to kneel, but I didn't say anything about it as that would break character, well, at least I think it will.
"My Lord!!!, words can't begin to describe the gratitude I..." He cried out, He didn't need to say anything as I can see the changes in his energy thread, it was now fiery red like flames.
I quickly cut him off as I was eager to know about his changes, "how do you feel?".
"Strong!" He only managed to say, rendering me speechless. what kind of explanation is that?, if you won't say anything, don't talk!.
Although I thought this things, I chose to keep quiet. I pretty much have a full gist of what his body was experiencing but I feel that he's body still needs sometime to digest the energy even though he was only 40% full, same thing applied for Annabel too.
Tomorrow I'll have to get another two people to perform other methods. But...
Annabel had a little change on the hologram next to her face. There was a two minute timer below the 2%, I quickly checked Charles and found '15 days' below the 40%.
That's good, saves me from all the future guess work, so I chose to wait while asking Charles to go back and rest.
"Make sure to return here tomorrow"

After Charles's departure, I observed Anna once again, she was playing with a butterfly, something you wouldn't expect from the emotionally detached 23 year old.
But I quickly brushed it off and called her over, "I will now continue".
Before she could say anything, I began the process, she clenched her teeth and refused to scream like before. this went on for five who minutes and chose to stop as I saw that the percentage wasn't rising after reaching 5%.
She began taking in big gulps of air into her lungs as I noticed the light bleeding in her ears.
I couldn't help mentally frowning.
Is there a way to reduce the pain?, is this the way the others would experience it?, there's also the possibility of me doing it wrongly as well.
She laid on the ground while I was in deep thought, at some point there was tears in her eyes.
'What would she think of me?' I couldn't help but wonder as I took a peek at her thoughts, only to find out that she was laughing in her mind.
Did I break her?, was that too much ? This thoughts kept on circling in my mind, as though it was a loop, till I chose to remain silent and ignore everything for now till tomorrow.
'Haaa peace and quiet at last' I couldn't help sighing as I turned my sight to my personal information.
