Sui Yuan looked at the mess on the ground, and even with her usually good temper, she was annoyed.
Time after time, the pranks made her suspect that someone was intentionally targeting her. It was fortunate that there was no hot water in the thermos to scald her or anyone else.
But as she looked around, besides the students coming and going, she didn't spot any suspicious individuals.
Sui Yuan squatted down and slowly collected the pieces of the thermos into a bag and threw it into the trash bin. To prevent the cleaning lady from getting hurt, she wrapped it in an extra layer of old newspaper.
Feeling too tired to bother with hot water anymore, Sui Yuan returned to her dorm room.
As soon as she lay on the bed, her phone received a message. She glanced at it and saw just five words.
But her face suddenly turned pale, drained of color.
