Ruanruan had given away the green dumplings she made to everyone at the institute, and then stayed at Nangong Xun's place, holding a small snack in each hand, her mouth stuffed full.
"Dad, is it tasty? Is there anything special you want to eat? I'll make it for you next time," she said.
Nangong Xun nodded repeatedly, and even the hair on his head seemed to nod along.
"I like whatever Ruanruan makes. Just wait a little more, I'll soon be able to make the terminal for you," he said.
"There's no need to rush, Nangong Dad, don't tire yourself out," she replied.
The women chatted and snacked away, and before they knew it, a lot of time had passed. It was time for her to go back.
The institute was a rather secretive place, and being able to visit once a month was already quite good.
