CHAPTER 154
Melisca and Ezekiel was just freshly out of the lake. They took a bath after their night rendezvous. Ezekiel wanted another round after he claimed her but she refused even if she wanted to. She had to conserve her energy no matter how blissful she felt with him. So, she was glad that he agreed to go on the lake with her to freshen their body from sweat.
They were now clothed and they lay on the grass. Melisca's head was on Zek's arm, making it her pillow. She her body closer to him. They gazed up on the night sky together. Stars were winking at them.
It felt perfect for a moment. Even just a moment. She felt quiet and easy in his arms, with his presence around her.
Then she sat up, started to braid her long hair again. Zek sat up too and stared at her. He waited until she was done and pulled her waist close to her body. The dried grass was comfortable beneath them.
