Hubert frowned again as heard how ridiculous the story was. It was impossible to believe, but there was no reason for the General under Madame Romane to lie to them. What was the point of giving such an absurd false report which meant it was most likely true that Madame Romane was defeated in a matter of seconds.
"You said Madam Romane brought 5000 Demi-God Ranks, but you said in your report that the Tang Empire captured 4999 Demi-God Ranks…" Hubert's voice trailed off as he realized who the last person was.
"I am the last person, and the Emperor let me go and ordered me to tell you what happened to Madame Romane…" The General realized that The Emperor did give him a specific instruction, just telling him to tell what happened to his direct superior. The Emperor did not even use him to send a message unless the message was hidden in his story.
