Tang Shaoyang enjoyed the feast made by his wife, and she was not wrong that he missed her food. It was the same with Omakase, he ate whatever Elin made him. The surprise was when he found out that Elin tried to replicate something similar to Peking Duck.
The skin was crunchy which was in contrast to the meat which was juicy and succulent, there was a bit of spiciness that was different from the usual Peking Duck, but he liked this version more. He knew Elin tailored the food to his taste, not trying to replicate an actual Peking Duck.
But he noticed the difference, the meat's texture was similar to beef but not quite yet. It was something he had never tasted before, meaning it came from a new monster, "What meat do you use for this one?"
Tang Shaoyang stopped and asked for the first time. He never asked before, waiting until Elin explained all her new creations.
