John arrived at Paradise with the woman which was surprised by what John just did. John guides her inside as she looked around when they stopped at the kitchen and John gestured to her to sit down.
"Where are we?" asks the woman as two glasses appear on the table one with water and the other with whisky.
John took the glass with whisky in his hand before saying, "This is Paradise or at least it's what my wife's great-grandfather named it after entering this place the first time. This will be the place where we will revive David as well as Rebecca. She sacrificed her life to get you out back then if I am not wrong and Rogue will need every hand she can possibly get her hands on."
"And all of that just to hack into Arasaka?" asks the woman as John drinks from his glass.
"Yes, but keep it a secret from my wife. We are messing around with her future domain after all," says John as he didn't want Nesiara to shut his plan down.
"But even if you bring him back... Isn't he too far gone?" asks the woman as John only smiles at her.
"I will deal with that myself with a friend of mine. David as well as Rebecca won't fall into a Cyberpsychosis ever after I and my friend are done," says John reassuring her that David and Rebecca wouldn't fall into a Cyberpsychosis state.
"Now, do we have a deal?" asks John stretching his free hand out towards the woman as she takes his hand and shakes it.
"Good, then let us get started we don't have much time before we assault Arasaka Tower," says John placing down his glass before standing up and moving toward a room with a warning sign on it.
He opens the door and the woman came face-to-face with an endless white space when John walked into the white space before taking a pouch that was hanging behind the door with him.
John opened the pouch and seven big glass spheres fell upon the white floor before John spoke in a language that the woman couldn't translate. The white sky turned black and a giant green dragon came out of the shining glass spheres surprising the woman.
She saw John and the Dragon bargaining or at least it looked like it before the red eyes of the Dragon began to shine slightly when it stopped and sweat appeared on the face of the Dragon.
It seemed to protest to do so which made John hold his head while sighing in annoyance when he says something that made the Dragon sigh in relief before the eyes begin to shine again and soon two bodies appeared out of blinding light.
It was David Martinez and Rebecca that appeared out of nowhere as they were in their birthday suit when the woman rushed towards them. She shook David around but didn't get a reaction from him and she began to shake Rebecca's body next but she didn't wake up either.
"It is useless they won't wake up until I talk to my wife. The Dragon made sure that their soul will be returned once I have informed my wife of what I am trying to do. I already have a headache," says John as he put David and Rebecca on his shoulders after catching the Namekian Dragonballs and placing them in their respective pouch.
They leave the Time Chamber and returned to Paradise before John teleported them to his home in Night City which surprised the woman since it was her home once before she left for the moon.
She then came face to face with a dark-skinned beauty with crimson red hair which seemed to shine brightly who was glaring at John making her feel nervous.
"Nesiara, Darling, I need to inform you about what I wanted to do," says John nervously as he felt that Nesiara wanted to kill him for going behind her back.
Nesiara pulled her scythes out and hold them against his throat cutting a bit into it before saying furiously, "You know very well that you are creating an imbalance in this world by bringing both of them back. Do you know how much chaos it can create?
Why do you think the Dragonball Universe is so fucked up with always stronger villains popping up out of nowhere. It is because their whole balance is down the drain because of all the bringing back the dead."
"They are harmless and this world isn't like the Dragonball Universe. There are only normal people around this world," says John trying to explain that it wouldn't be dangerous when he says, "And didn't you save Jackie from dying back then, don't lie to me. I know that he should be six feet under the ground right now."
They looked into each other's eyes while the woman was having trouble breathing from the pressure she was feeling when John says, "She will die if we continue and if she dies her son will die as well."
"Fine," says Nesiara as she pulled back her scythes before looking at the two bodies and she passed her scythes over the bodies making them come to life.
John placed them down on the floor before they began to awaken while feeling as if they were asleep for a long time. The woman rushed to their side and sees that both opened their eyes when they both looked at her in confusion.
"Lucy, why are you here? Did you die as well?" asks David seeing his former lover thinking that he was in the afterlife.
Lucy began to cry tears seeing that David was back when she hugged him and Rebecca who looked at her confused when Nesiara says, "You are back under the living David and you too, Rebecca."
"That can't be once dead always dead," says David when he looked around as he notices that he was at his home.
He soon looked down and saw that he was naked the same could be said about Rebecca when John pulled out of nowhere clothes for the two and John says, "We aren't done yet. You two will be coming with me for the next two days to meet a friend of mine. We need to upgrade your Cyberware so you don't enter Cyberpsychosis."
John grabbed David and Rebecca who weren't fully clothed yet and disappears while Nesiara only sighs before looking at Lucy and she says, "You with me. We should get your child from my husband's clone's incompetent hands."
Lucy didn't get a say in it as Nesiara erects a barrier around both of them and teleports to the moon right where she could feel the clone standing before making the barrier disappear.
She lets Lucy get her child before they go back to Night City when a crib appears out of nowhere and Nesiara says, "Put the child in it while you help me cook food for the group to send it to them since they won't return for a day or two."
"What?" asks Lucy when Nesiara looks at her confused.
"Do you think that exchanging and improving all their Cyberware would take some hours? If you thought so you are a fool. My husband took almost a month just to make a friend of ours the Cyberware so she wouldn't fall to the Dark Side. He will at least need some days even while using the Time Chamber since they need to remove the implants first," says Nesiara informing Lucy about it as she enters the kitchen when she asks, "Are you coming or will you let your former boyfriend starve to death just because you didn't help me."
"I am coming," says Lucy rapidly as she joined Nesiara who seemed to have started cooking before John and Lucy arrived with the two bodies.
John in the meantime was at Viktor's place as he looked at David and Rebecca before saying, "Shouldn't they be corpses that a decaying under the Corpo Plaza."
He remembers the incident from a year ago when some crazy mercs tried to start a war with Arasaka like John was doing at the moment when John says, "I brought them back with some help. I need his former girlfriend's ability to hack into Arasaka since she is the only living and breathing being able to do so."
Viktor catches on fast since he knew that V met an engram of Alt Cunningham behind the Black Wall which neither V nor John trusted a bit.
"So what do we do with them?" asks Viktor already knowing what John wanted to do but he still asked just to be sure.
"We are taking them apart so I can upgrade their Cyberware before implanting them again," says John as David and Rebecca didn't seem happy that John was talking like they were only objects or Lab Rats to test something on them.
"Don't take it the wrong way. He is doing it for you. If someone should be complaining it should be me who is working without pay since you will be helping some dear friends of mine," says Viktor seeing their expression when John cloned himself multiple times surprising the two revived individuals as the clones grabbed both of them so Victor and he could begin with the operation.
They replaced the missing Cyberware with cheap ones at first since they couldn't let them lay on Viktor's chairs mutilated while the clones disappeared with their Cyberware to improve them while staying in the Time Chamber.
A bit later Nesiara arrived with Lucy and her child when she looks at John a bit angry before saying, "You shouldn't have left your clone to watch over the child. We both know that you weren't the best when it came to rearing our children when they were still babies."
"At least I tried," says John thinking that he wasn't that bad when he remembers that Nora and Kieron often entered his smithy while it was melting iron or he hammering on hot iron and he rectifies, "Maybe you are right remembering our time in Alfheim might prove it."
David saw Lucy holding a child in her arms and didn't believe what he was seeing when he slowly trotted towards her since he wasn't familiar with his new legs.
"Is it?" asks David as Lucy nods.
"It is," says Lucy before rectifying and saying, "She is Gloria Kushinada, I couldn't risk Arasaka looking for people connected to you and finding her so I gave her my family name while her first name."
"Is my mother's," says David wanting to hold the child when John stops him.
"That has to wait until you have your other arms back. We don't want you to squeeze her too hard or hold her too shallowly," says John warning David of the risks he nods since he would have more than enough time to hold his child after they were done.
"Well, you should eat something since you all must be pretty hungry," says Nesiara as she gave them bread which confused David and Rebecca while Viktor walked up quite fast.
"Did you make some with the barbecue sauce and meat?" asks Viktor as he has eaten Lembas before.
"Yes, but I also made your favorite," says Nesiara picking one out before Viktor bit one corner away and he could taste the sweetness rushing into his mouth before his throat burned a bit.
"Ah, meat marinated with honey and a bit of rum. If you weren't married to your husband," says Viktor joking at the last part which made Nesiara laugh while John only sighs.
"This is Lembas, it can aliment a person for a day by just taking a bite from it," says Nesiara as she handed one to David and another to Rebecca before John picked two of them surprising both when Nesiara says, "I and my husband need to eat a bit more than normal humans because of our metabolism."
They began to eat as they looked surprised that Nesiara spoke the truth. Just one bite and they were full when they looked shocked to see Nesiara eat five of them as if they were nothing.
The next day the clones returned and Viktor and John began to remove the cheap Cyberware to replace them with the upgrade Cyberware. Nesiara invited them to stay at their place since they would need to go to the moon which wasn't practical since V could be called any moment.
