After taking care of the Heartless, John and Nesiara could see some puppies laying on the ground. They walk towards them and John picks two of them up and feels their pulse.
"They are alive," says John as Nesiara picked the last one up.
"They must be exhausted. Were they kidnapped by those shadows?" asks Nesiara as John saw that they were Dalmatians and knew right away what was going on.
"Yes, but they aren't the only ones that got kidnapped," says John as he saw the hotel they wanted to go to before he sighs and says, "Let us bring them to their parents before meeting this Universe's Aerith."
"Where do we have to go?" asks Nesiara as she doesn't know much about this Universe except for a bit of the plot that revolves around the last game.
That's why she looked at John who knew more about this Universe since he has read most of the books inside their library while she only researches the worlds they will visit beforehand and not those that take them by surprise.
"We need to follow the street down and enter the alley. At the end of the alley, we will find a door leading into a mansion. There we will find them," says John as he holds both puppies in one hand while summoning Yamato in the other.
Nesiara summoned her Omega in her hand while more Heartless appear around them and Nesiara says, "It's my turn now. Just keep my rear clear."
"I will," says John as Nesiara rushed into the battle with her spear in front.
She pierces through the first three Shadows when a Soldier spins towards her from her weak side since she was carrying the puppy. She ignored it as a wind slice cut through it killing it while Nesiara spins her Omega over her head killing Shadows and Soldiers that tried to jump her.
John was closely behind Nesiara when Red Nocturnes and Blue Rhapsodies appeared over their heads when Nesiara says, "I take the blue ones you kill the red ones."
"On it," says John as he swings his sword at the air creating wind slices that travel towards his target while Nesiara targeted the Blue Rhapsodies killing them all.
They continued advancing when they enter the alley and a giant fat Heartless stood in front of them. John rushed at it while putting Yamato away before grabbing it and he pulled him up while Nesiara jumped and pierced the Heartless in its back killing it.
They see the door and they enter it finding themselves in a room that resembles a living room but it was quite lifeless because no one was there. Nesiara and John continued on their way through the mansion until they find the parents of the Dalmatians and Sora.
Sora sees Nesiara's Omega and goes into position to attack when John says, "Hold your horses, boy. We aren't the bad guys here."
"Then why are you holding those puppies and a weapon in your hands?" asks Sora as the Keyblade appears in his hand when the parents of the Dalmatians step in between both.
Nesiara then puts her puppy down while using chakra to wake it up as John did the same before petting the parents of the Dalmatians. Sora sees that and looks quite apologetic at John and Nesiara.
"We will find your other puppies," says Nesiara with confidence while petting the mother of the Dalmatians.
"I know your pain. We also lost our child to some despicable people," says Nesiara as she continued petting the puppies while saying, "Once we find them we will send them here."
Nesiara created a mark on the ground as did John so they could send them there right away. They looked at Sora who was scratching his head. He looked like he was searching for the words he wanted to use to apologize to them.
"Don't worry, kid. We went through worse and you pointing your Keyblade at us," says Nesiara as she petted his head.
"She is right just two years ago the sons of a friend of mine wanted to kill me not knowing who I really was," says John as Sora looked at them confused.
"Where are you going right now?" asks Nesiara with a smile as Sora now felt better.
"I am going to meet someone in a motel just on the other side of this mansion," says Sora with a smile while having his hands behind his head.
"Well, that is also our destination. We are going to meet someone that could explain something to us," says Nesiara when John turned around.
"How about we go together," says John as he began to walk through the mansion while Nesiara and Sora followed when Nesiara notices Sora staring at her.
"So have you found something interesting?" asks Nesiara using her adult charm embarrassing Sora a bit who thought he wasn't noticed.
"It's just that you look a lot like a friend of mine just that she has blue eyes and a brighter skin tone," says Sora as he was touching his chest.
"You are in love with her?" asks Nesiara as Sora was a bit rosy while scratching his head.
"Yes, but I have lost my world and I need to find Kairi and Riku," says Sora as John stopped and turned to him.
"You will find them but let me give you a quote that will help you always when you are in a pinch 'May Your Heart Be Your Guiding Key.' or just think of the people you want to protect. It helped me to become stronger for the people I love," says John as he opened the door to the alley.
They leave the Dalmatians Mansion and walk out of the alley and find the motel right away when a little squad of Heartless attacks them. John summoned Dragon Slayer this time while Nesiara summoned Faith.
'We shouldn't go all out and let Sora get some experience. He will need it as the Hero of this Universe, ' says John telepathically to Nesiara who nods at him.
Sora looked at Dragon Slayer and was lost in seeing John carry it only using one hand. He snaps out of it rapidly as he summoned his Keyblade to join the fight. John and Nesiara were killing the Heartless slowly while keeping Sora's rear clear.
Sora barely notices that his rear was protected by both adults while John was looking at Sora's swordsmanship. John mostly made a long swing to take ten Heartless down while Nesiara shoot projectiles of light at the flying Heartless. Sora seemed like he could fly himself as most of the time he was in the air spinning around.
But for every Heartless they kill three more appeared in its stead making John pick up an exhausted Sora and throw him towards the motel. Nesiara was on the balcony and prepared a seal that would hold the Heartless out before she caught Sora.
"Wait, I can still fight," says Sora exhausted when Nesiara smiles at him.
"You are brave I give you that. But you need to know when you should retreat and when you should fight. And right now it is time to retreat," says Nesiara as she pulled Sora towards the motel when John lands on the balcony followed by the Heartless that crash against the invisible barrier that holds them out.
They enter the motel through the balcony and Nesiara says, "The seal will hold them only for a while. We should talk to our respective parties and leave with them right away."
Moments before Sora met Nesiara and John, he left the shop only to find himself lost.
"Where am I?" asks Sora himself as the Keyblade manifests itself in his hand making Sora ask himself, "And what are you?"
"That is a Keyblade which makes you the Master of the Keyblade," says a man that approaches Sora.
He was wearing some jeans with a white shirt and a black vest over it. He has long brown hair that reaches his back and blue eyes. A scar decorated his face that went from the upper right of his forehead and ended on his left cheek a bit under his left eye.
"A Keyblade?" asks Sora looking at the Keyblade when the man suddenly pulled his weapon out.
It was a sword Sora never saw before as it was part gun and part sword in his eyes. Sora gets in position as he places both hands on the handle of the Keyblade.
"Let's find out if you are worthy to wield it," says the man ready to attack Sora.
Sora sees the attack coming towards him and defends himself but is sent flying towards the town center when a man in a hooded black coat catches him.
"Are you alright?" asks the hooded man in a worried tone.
"Thank you," says Sora as the person puts himself in front of him.
"You must pass him and go directly straight until you can't any longer. Then you should find a door that leads into a Mansion full of Dalmatians. From there you need to get to a motel on the other side of the mansion. Someone is waiting for you there," says the hooded man as Sora was nervous.
"How do I pass that person?" asks Sora as the hooded man chuckled.
"I will cover your rear. You just run for it," says the hooded person as Sora didn't see his weapons when they manifested.
They were Keyblades not like the one he was holding but a Black Keyblade and a White One when the hooded man says, "Oblivion and Oathkeeper will keep me safe. You concentrate on passing them."
Sora nods and runs at the man holding the Gunblade with the hooded man right behind him. The man holding the Gunblade wanted to stop Sora from escaping but the hooded man placed himself between both stopping the man with the Gunblade.
"He needs to go there to fulfill his destiny. We both know it," says the hooded man when a giant shuriken flies towards his rear.
The hooded man didn't even evade the shuriken and only says, "Block it."
The shuriken was about to touch him as he and his clothes began to turn into black smoke and the shuriken passed through him surprising the man holding the Gunblade as he needed to block the shuriken.
The hooded man the makes some distance before fading away in a black portal making a girl in pants and a green shirt ask, "Who was that guy?"
"Another Keyblade wielder it seems. But we should worry about that later. For now, we need to find the boy," says the man holding the Gunblade.
"He could have kicked your ass, Leon," says the girl as Leon couldn't deny it.
"He could have easily defeated us all, Yuffie," says Leon as he turned in the direction Sora left before turning to the alley that would lead them directly to Sora's destination.
"We should get Cid and move out," says Leon as he walks into the shop with Yuffie while the hooded man was watching everything from a roof.
