"Everyone else, disperse!"
The crowd scurried off, and Qiu Bai followed suit.
Meng Ping impatiently pulled away from Hai Lan's arm, "Enough. There's no audience now, so drop the act." After saying this, he didn't give Hai Lan another glance and turned to leave with decisive strides.
Qin Cuifen watched as Meng Ping turned his back, standing there helplessly, pretending to be invisible.
"Meng Ping, I won't be staying in the dorm tonight. Come pick me up later," Hai Lan called out to Meng Ping's retreating figure.
"Do you think the General Union is your home? Stay if you want, leave if you don't?" Meng Ping turned around to deliver a cold, sarcastic remark, then left without looking back.
Hai Lan stood rooted to the spot, seething inside, yet her face still wore a gentle and virtuous expression.
Qin Cuifen was utterly impressed by her; she guessed Hai Lan must be furious, but the composure she displayed was formidable indeed.
