As The King and his group rode into the distance all Scarlet could do was watch and accept her defeat.
"Damn that guy bully the hell out of you." One of the other S rank hunters said with an asshole smile. He had blood red hair, a leather jacket and black jeans, no more than 23.
"Shut up John, he would have beat you even worse." Scarlet dusted herself off.
"He wouldn't have been able to touch me. I'm just too good," John said shrugging his shoulders.
"You're way too cocky, how about I knock you off your high horse!" Scarlet said, raising her spear at him.
"Go ahead and try bitch, I'm gonna knock your teeth out!" John pulled out Brass Knuckles and smashed his fist together causing sparks to fly.
"Both of you shut up. you're way too loud." A man with a hooded trench coat said walking over to them. He was pretty tall with a big bell with a handle on it strapped to his back and black hair. His name is Orion.
John and Scarlet hesitated then put their weapons down.
"Why are you 2 always like this can't you just get along." A small delicate-looking woman with a nun outfit on and blond hair said as she gave them a caring smile. Her name is Icarus.
There was also a green hair ninja guy but he didn't talk much, and he always looks like he doesn't care about anything. He wears nothing but black with a black mask that covers half of his face. reminds me of another ninja I know, just without the white hair. His name is Shizuka.
And finally, you had Odwin who was too busy reading a porn mag to care about the situation, he had black hair with the tips dyed blond, think of Sherlock, he dresses like a downgraded version of him.
These six Bounty hunters are some of the most dangerous people in the Bounty hunter community. They are called the soulless eyes 6.
"That guy who beat you Scarlet...was something special I can feel..." Orion said tapping Scarlet on her shoulder.
"What do you think we should do?" Icarus Asked.
"Everything in my gut is telling me to chase after him. He seems to have a bigger purpose, and I want to know what it is. " Orion respawned.
"Damn it's been a long time since you've been this interested in somebody," John said cracking his knuckles.
"I'm not going to lie, if you're that interested I'm in to chase this guy," Odwin said, still not lifting his head from the porn mag.
"Alright then get some horses, we are going after them," Orion said with a look of determination.
"How long has it been since I've seen you like this? makes me get ready for anything!" John said bouncing around. I'm not sure what John's deal, probably got a crush on Orion.
Meanwhile, The King and his group were relaxed just riding through the forest riding on the horses.
"So Tom who was that you were fighting, she looked pretty strong," Musabi asked.
"I don't know some S rank Bounty hunters." The king said.
"Damn, not even a full day of the ship and we already got a bounty on us," Luke said sadly hanging his head.
"I wonder how big our bounty is," Stagnum said, laying down on his horse. Yes while it's moving.
"It can't be that much we only stole some horses," Luke said unsure.
"And we also started a bar fight," Musabi said.
"I mean yeah but still-" Luke was cut off.
"We also ran through town on horses putting a lot of people in danger. and ruined some shops." Ashly pointed out.
"Yeah but-" Luke was cut off again.
"And I also grabbed a guards hand and moved so fast with him he passed out. And I got into a fight with an S rank Bounty hunter, And I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of them yet." The king said.
"Er...We're screwed ." A gloom came over Luke's head.
"Not if we don't get caught." The king said laughing it off.
"It's going to be a few hours until we make it to the next town. Once when we are there it'll be a 2-day horse ride until we get to the desert than when we are there, a 7-hour horse ride through the desert," The king said, pulling out the map Tommy gave to him.
"My balls are going to be finished after this," Luke said, still being a downer.
"I'll massage them if you want," Ashly said, rubbing his chest.
"N-no I think I'm good," Luke said as his face turned red. Luke always gets embarrassment when she says stuff like that.
"I got balls of steel so I'm going to be fine." The king said with a grin.
"Or you really just have vagina down there," Luke said under his breath, smiling.
"What was that 2in." The king said looking back at Luke.
"IT'S NOT 2IN!" Luke jumps to defend his small pride.
"Yeah, whatever you say, Baby penis." The king said chuckling. Musabi and Stagnum were holding in their laughter.
"Don't worry Luke, like I said I still love you, Even if your penis is below average," Ashly said in an attempt to cheer Luke up. Luke looked even sadder now.
"Alright, let's speed up. we'll be sleeping in the next town tonight." The king said.
After traveling a few hours the king and his group finally made it to the next town.
"Let's find a restaurant we can sit in while we rest for a little." The king said.
After they found a place, they sat at a booth at a window seat.
"Hey since we're waiting to order, you should tell us a bit about yourself Tom," Stagnum said, trying to make conversation.
"What would you want to know?" The king replied.
"Do you have a wife?" Ashly asked.
"I doubt you have a wife," Luke said under his breath.
"Well I had a wife and I had a girlfriend after her. I got one kid with both of them. and also an adopted kid." The king said, putting his hands on his head. Oh yeah completely forgot they're being torture right now, But the King wasn't going to tell them that he'd look like Psyocho saying that with a straight face.
"WOW, you got 3 kids! You don't even look over 32." Musabi said in shock.
"If you don't mind me asking what happened to your wife's?" Ashly asked.
"...They were both killed." The King got better at hiding sadness.
"Oh, I'm sorry I asked," Ashly said looking down.
"Don't worry about it. Anyway, why don't you guys tell me how you all ended up on Tommy's ship? We got an hour or 2 to spare." The king said, laying back ready for a story.
"Musabi, you tell the story you were always good at it," Luke said and Everyone in the booth agreed. Side Storytime!
"Alright, I'll do it. It all started back when we were around 12."
5 years ago...
"Hey, Musabi! Whatcha up to today." Stagnum said, running up behind Musabi.
"Nothing much, just pretty much wandering around. Nothing really much to do today." Musabi said.
"Back then we survived in the slums. it smelled like trash and just walking around at sunset was dangerous. The houses were built out of the trash and different things people could find to make a shelter. Clothes and shoes were made from ripped cloths. The houses had no doors," Musabi explained the setting of the story. Back to the story.
"Yeah same, I was Going to head over to Lukes's house. Then Ashly's. You should come with." Stagnum said, tapping her on the shoulder.
"Well I didn't have any other plans today I guess, Alright let's go," Musabi said.
At Luke's house before Stagnum and Musabi arrived.
"Hey mom, I got you some oranges," Luke said, handing one to his mom.
"Don't! call me mom." Luke's mom yelled at him snatching the orange from him. All Luke wanted to do was make his mother happy. But she always looked at him with such hateful eyes, Even when he risked his life to steal food for her.
"I'm sorry..." Luke always no matter what did not show sadness or anger to his mom, no matter what she did.
Suddenly a big fat man walked into their house. He pushed Luke out of the way.
"Hey, Bitch. Where did you get the orange from!" This guy was his mom's boyfriend, Nickname FB. If you know, you know.
"I got it from Luke." Luke's mom said in a panic.
"So you got it for her hu, where's mine at little shit!" FB said as he kicked Luke in his stomach causing Luke to fall to the ground and dropping the orange he got for himself to fall on the ground.
"So you had another one and you weren't going to give it to me. Spoiled little shit!" FB started kicking Luke in his stomach repeatedly. His mom sat there and was smiling because he was being beaten. Even though It hurt, Luke was happy to see his mother smile regardless of how it was. Even so, he did not show it.
Fb Picked Luke up by his hair then punched him out of the house. "Think about what did trash," FB said going back in the house.
Luke got up and barely started walking away.
After walking for a min he was about to collapse when suddenly, Stagnum caught him.
"Don't worry, We got you," Stagnum said as him and Musabi lifted Luke onto their shoulders.
"He was tuff on you again, wasn't he?" Musabi said as they walked.
"I'm fine, just happy I got to see mom smile," Luke said, giving a smile.
"...Well, me and Musabi are heading to Ashly's house and you coming with us whether you like it or not," Stagnum said, patting him on the back.
"Alright then let's go," Stagnum said standing straight up.
Ashly's living condition was no better than Luke's. Before they got to Ashly's house.
"We are barely surviving If we don't start using Ashly as well then we'll start to starve!" Ashly's father was yelling at her mom, his name was LL. people called him L's.
"We are not making our daughter be a prostitute! I would never when she was 18 and I never will when she's only 12!" Ashly's mom said, despite being in the slum Ashly mom was always so kind to people but had a backbone. Her name was Spes Tenebris. Ashly clings and stands behind her mom as they argue.
"The only reason we are doing as bad as we are is because you keep taking money to buy drugs!" Spes said getting angrier as the conversation went on. After 5 min Luke, Stagnum, and Musabi showed up. When Ashly saw them she rushed out the house to stand by them. Spec calm down when they showed up.
"Hello, guys," Spec said with a real smile.
"Hello mom, we're wondering if we could get Ashly out to play," Stagnum said letting go of Luke to see if he can stand up by himself.
Stagnum didn't have any family, his mother died giving birth to him and his father disappeared. And Musabi was an abandoned child. So Spec would always treat them like they were her own so they called her mom.
"Ok I don't mind but, you better stay out of trouble!" Spec said pulling on Stagnum ear.
"Ow, ow, ow! I won't get into trouble!" Stagnum said, trying to escape her grip.
"Don't worry we are here so Stagnum won't get us into too much trouble," Musabi said proudly.
Spec let go of Stagnum's ear and said, "Ok I'll have to trust my little knights. Go on then."
"Alright, mom I'll make sure to stick by them," Ashly said.
Spec pulled Ashly close and whisper in her ear "I know you got a crush on Luke, you might want to hurry up before one of these other girls get him." Then Spec pulled away and smiled. Ashly blushed a little then smile then nodded.
"Alright get going," Spec said.
"Alright bye, mom." They all said besides Luke who just said goodbye.
After walking for a bit Stagnum asked. "What did mom say to you?"
"Yeah, I want to know too," Musabi said, pulling her close.
"None of your business!" Ashly yelled in Musabi's ear.
"I kinda wanted to know too," Luke said looking over at her. Ashly blushed.
"I'll tell you later Luke," Ashly said, blushing, rubbing her hands together.
"Dang, it's crazy to think how shy Ashly used to be," Stagnum said, interrupting the story.
"I know right, such a cute innocent girl," Musabi said.
One by one people were gathering around their booth to listen to the story.
"Anyway back to the story," Musabi said, continuing the story.
"Hey how come Luke gets special treatment!" Stagnum said, feeling left out.
"Ooh, so that's what's going on here," Musabi said, giving her a grin letting Ashly know she knows Ashly likes Luke.
"Wait, how did you figure it out, if even I couldn't," Luke said a little irritated.
"Hey, da hell is that supposed to mean," Musabi said, realizing he was calling her less smart.
"Tell me, tell mee! I'm good at keeping secrets." Stagnum got more desperate to know.
"I know you are Stagnum but I could only tell you if Ashly allowed me to," Musabi said, pointing at Ashly.
"And I say hell no! You'll know eventually anyway so just give it some time Stagnum." Ashly said.
"Fine, I guess I'll just wait," Stagnum said crossing his arms pouting.
"Anyway what are we going to do today," Ashly said Looking at Musabi.
"I don't know, ask Stagnum he's the one who got us all together," Musabi said.
"Oh, Right I forgot to say that. I found a cave that's just a little out of the city. It's really pretty so I was thinking we could all go together." Stagnum said, jumping in front of them.
"It sounds kinda dangerous," Luke said.
"Come ooon. The humans didn't get anywhere without being a little dangerous." Stagnum said.
"I'm going only because I know you're going to go with or without us," Musabi said.
"Fine, If two are going then 3 would be better," Luke said itching his head in irritation.
"I'm coming," Ashly said, raising her hand.
"Alright then! I'll lead the way." Stagnum said as he jumps excitedly.
They all followed him into the forest right outside the city. And into the forest.
"I'm starting to get an off feeling..." Luke said, looking worried.
"We'll be fine. I came into the forest and I came out completely fine," Stagnum said, pointing at himself.
Even though Stagnum said that something still felt off to Luke.
After walking for a little bit they finally arrived at the super big cave. The opening of the cave Looked to be at least 2 stories high and was 36meters wide.
"Woah...It's huge." Ashly said as they all stood there in shock.
"But it's kinda weird that we never heard of this place and it's not very far away from the city," Luke said.
"Mabey the information just never traveled to the slums," Musabi said thinking about it.
"Well, we'll just have to find out after we're done exploring," Stagnum said marching into the cave.
"Hey wait!" Luke yelled at Stagnum.
"Nope!" Stagnum said not even stopping for a second.
"I guess we should go after him..." Musabi said, sighing then ran after Stagnum.
"Goddamnit," Luke said as he followed, Ashly was running by his side.
