Hinata longed for his Eiji to return from war. Alone in the idyllic countryside whilst other areas of Japan were torn asunder. One day, he receives a letter from his lover filled with the scent of sunflowers and his undying love for him. Followed by official news of his presumed death at Iwo Jima. Heartbroken. Yet determined to honor his promise to Eiji; to live the life they were unable to live together.
His story perspective is told in the volumes listed below. The recent end of war as a civilian of a country village named Mimaki.[1]
Volume 1 : A Sunflower's Lament
Volume 2 : Darkside of Sunflowers
Volume 3 : To My Sunflower [Hinata's POV]
Volume 7 : To My Sunflower {The Final}
[1] I've done some changes to the novel:
- removed all emoji and links in the non story chapter
- replaced the cover with the WN Gen-AI version
- reset the genre to Historical Fiction (Female) not sure when it as set as LGBT. Tbh, it's really historical fiction even though the main protagonists are gay lovers.
Unfortunately, this may have made the novel unsearchable. I have an active ticket open with IT, but it might be that they can't fix it. If so, anyone reading this note would have discovered this story via external promotion links or search engine browsers.
