Chapter 680 - The Goddesses Fall

The four looked from one another and back to Athena, unable to answer. They were not foolish little girls. While they had kept themselves absorbed in the nature of warfare and bloodshed, they also had spent time around males in the army and knew the ways of men and women. Due to their strength and their position, they never had to worry about anything untold happening to them and in general, order and law was kept in good shape within the army itself. That didn't mean that those conquered had much of a choice however as the women of the fallen nations and tribes were used as prizes the men took. It was barbaric, but compared to what might have happened if something like that hadn't been allowed, it was silently accepted. The only ones with any rights after being conquered were the higher members of the opposing nations and their families.
